Marilu Henner can go take a taxi
She can because although I want desperately to follow her eating, lifestyle plan, it is near impossible without personal chef and trainer.
No sugar, no meat (You don't eat no meat? I'll make lamb!), no dairy.
No problem, really. Except that the time alone it takes to find foods that meet all these expectations is massive! In case you didn't know, sugar is in just about everything.
So, I managed this for almost a month. The no meat thing is easy because I don't choose meat anyway. I love salads and the Marilu dressing (surprising how only 1 tbs of dressing actually coats a salad quite well; I guess we don't really need a ladle of ranch to eat greens...) and the salmon and the rice and rye combo with veggies. It really is yummy and great. Easy to eat.
I have no time to shop, however. You all know I'm scared of Hy Vee and all other groceries are really making me crazy, too.
I'm tempted to move over to weight watchers where even though those damn rah, rah, sis boom bah's will drive me batty; I'll have accountability and I know it works if I do it.
Of course, I need to exercise, which I want to do, but have not seemed to be able to start yet. why, why can't I just wake up thin?! I promise I'll never overeat again if I can just wake up thin...
I guess I should have been thinking about this when I was sitting on my pregnant ass downing pint after pint of Ben and Jerry's, then spending the next 6 years doing a big, fat nothing!
Ok, enough whining. I WILL ride the bike tonight and I will not eat badly today.
So, there, Marilu!
